The menu above is the first displayed after the Order Procedures option is selected from the Sales menu. After selecting the Order Maintenance option the following menu is displayed.

The Order Maintenance menu begins with the adding/editing of orders. The user can also delete and cancel orders from this menu, recalculate order quantities, import and export Pitney-Bowes data and much more. The only option from this menu that the Guided Tour will focus on if the first one, Add/Edit Orders, continue the tour by clicking on that option now.

The menu items not discussed in detail are:

Cancel/Delete Order - Single orders or a range of orders can be canceled or deleted from the system through this options
Order Distribution - This option is designed to provide special handling for multiple store orders
Recalculate Committed Quantity - The total units of Open Sales Orders can easily be recalculated through this option
Pack and Hold - Merchandise that has been packed but is being held for shipment is handled through this option
Customer P.O. File - Purchase Orders on a per customer basis can be handled through the Customer P.O. File option
Import/Export Pitney-Bowes Data - Various items for Pitney-Bowes can be imported or exported through the system from this option
